Paul Josephus Jitta is a partner in the corporate law practice. Previously, he was a partner at Faasen & Partners, senior associate at Van Doorne and associate at the Dutch Landwell firm (and its predecessors), the correspondent law firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, which later merged with Van Doorne. After graduating from Amsterdam University, Paul started his career in 1993 in private practice with an Amsterdam based law firm. From 1996 to 1999 he worked for a Haarlem based law firm. He is admitted to the bar as from 1996.
Paul Josephus Jitta specializes in domestic and cross border M&A transactions and corporate and commercial litigation. Furthermore, he has specific expertise in the Dutch Energy sector. He is co-organizer of and lecturer to the post-academic Energy law course of the VU Law Academy.
Paul Josephus Jitta has been recognized for his work in M&A by the 2008, 2009 and 2010 editions of the European Legal500 Law Firm Directory as "recommended lawyer".
