Luuk Rietveld
Luuk is an associate in the corporate law practice. He advises both national and international companies on corporate and commercial law issues and commercial litigation.
Recent work
- Current court proceedings for a client (as defendant) who developed “cutting edge” technology with regard to the production and development of certain Bio-products;
- Succesful court proceedings for a Dutch company with a Chinese shareholder (as claimant), which is active worldwide in the production, sale and installation of gas, measuring and control equipment;
- Advising on contracts and general terms and conditions and assisting in contract negotiations of parties active in the development and global sale of innovative products for use in fitness and health systems, watches, circuit protection, power control and detection;
- Succesful court proceedings for a client residing in China (as claimant) in which a transfer of real estate located in China was the subject of dispute.
Specifics
Luuk completed his Masters in ‘Commercial and Company Law’ and ‘Bar and Bench’ at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and joined HEUSSEN in 2019. He is fluent in Dutch and English.
