Negin Asrish
Negin is an associate in the employment law practice. She advises both national and international clients on various aspects of the employment law, including individual and collective dismissals, reorganization, illness and labour relations. She frequently organizes workshops and master courses for students, (HR) professionals and companies.
Specifics
Negin graduated from University of Leiden with a Master's degree in Civil cum laude (2021) and Honours College Law (2019). She also studied at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. Before joining HEUSSEN in 2024, she worked for several years as an associate at a large international law firm in Amsterdam, where she also completed the Law Firm School. She is fluent in both Dutch and English.
Recent work
- Advised a publicly listed German fashion corporation on employment law matters in the context of a corporate restructuring;
- Provided employment law advice in connection with the transaction involving one of the market leaders in the Dutch childcare sector regarding the acquisition of multiple Dutch childcare organization;
- Advised an American listed company on employment law aspects in the acquisition of an equity interest in a Dutch specialist in pump solutions;
- Delivered workshops for clients on various employment law topics, including issues related to false self-employment;
- Delivered a masterclass on the employment law implications of reorganizations.

Negin has registered the principal legal practice area EMPLOYMENT LAW in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister). Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten (10) training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
