Stan is a partner in the corporate law practice and specialises in advising and assisting both national and international companies on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, investments and joint-ventures.
Recent work
- Acting on behalf of one of the market leaders in the Dutch childcare sector in connection with the acquisition of various Dutch childcare organizations;
- Providing transaction support to an American international listed industrial company with regard to the acquisition of a shareholding in a Dutch specialist in pump solutions;
- Assisting a Swedish company specialized in pest control in connection with its acquisition of a Dutch target company active in the same sector;
- Advising a German software development specialist on the notification of a proposed investment in a Dutch target company to the Investment Screening Board under the Security Screening of Investments, Mergers and Acquisitions Act;
- Acting on behalf of a Canadian listed company in connection with the acquisition of the offshore gas activities of a Dutch oil and gas company, as well as various North Sea gas assets;
- Advising one of Belgium's largest beer brewers on the acquisition of a Dutch, internationally operating beer brewery;
- Assisting a leading Swedish group active in the specialty chemicals industry in connection with the acquisition of a chemical plant in the port of Amsterdam.

Stan is responsible for HEUSSEN's China Desk and regularly travels to China to support HEUSSEN's Chinese clients with their Dutch and European activities.
