Dr. Yihua Chen, LL.M.
Dr. Yihua Chen co-heads the China Practice of HEUSSEN with Stan Ph. Robbers and is a foreign associate (admitted to the PRC bar, non-active status) .
Yihua is specialized in business law and dispute resolution. He holds a PhD in law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research interest includes dispute financing, ‘soft law’ in international arbitration, international and comparative arbitration law. Yihua was studying law in China and the Netherlands. He holds his master degree in Economic Law from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and his LLM in Arbitration and Business Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He also trained in the International Academy for Arbitration Law in Paris. Yihua often publishes and presents on dispute resolution and international arbitration.

Yihua joined HEUSSEN in 2023. He is fluent in Chinese and English. Yihua is a member of the Asian Academy of International Law, the Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration and the Young Institute for Transnational Arbitration. He was admitted to practice P.R. China’s law in 2018.
