Heussen Joined the Trade Mission to China Led by the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte
From 8 to 13 April 2018, Prime Minister Mark Rutte led a large Dutch trade delegation, officially visiting China on a trade mission. The delegation comprised about 165 businesses and research institutes from five main sectors. These are logistics and e-commerce, agricultural food and horticulture and raw materials, life sciences and health, waste management and circular economy, smart and green mobility and intelligent traffic systems.
As a member of this trade delegation, [lawyer,ID=104,Name='Stan Robbers'] (the partner of HEUSSEN) and [lawyer,ID=291, Name='Wendy Liu'] (the head of HEUSSEN’s China Desk) visited Shanghai and Guangzhou and met with various large-scale Chinese logistics enterprises, local governments and trade and investment promotion agencies.
The China Desk of HEUSSEN has been set up to provide Chinese companies the legal services they require in the Netherlands. Given HEUSSEN’s extensive network in China and the strong track record of its China Desk, HEUSSEN is also able to provide assistance and guidance to Dutch and European companies with their current and new activities in China. Since setting up the desk in 2010, we have been increasingly involved in advising Chinese clients interested in setting up or conducting a business in the Netherlands.
