Martina Priekaar
Martina is an assigned notary in the corporate law practice (notarial services) with focus on (cross-border) mergers and take-overs, investment rounds, (international) restructurings and demergers. Martina has also experience with different types of real-estate transactions.
Recent work
- Assisting and advising of several (start-up) companies with the set-up of the legal structure and their first and successive investment rounds;
- Assisting with and coordinating of an international restructuring for a listed company;
- Advising several internationally and nationally operating companies with the set-up of their employee participation plan;
- Assisting with and advising on a legal demerger, which consisted of both foreign and domestic assets;
- Assisting various international companies in strategic acquisitions in the Netherlands;
- Assisting on acquiring several rights of mortgage on commercial real estate for a German bank.
Specifics
Martina heads HEUSSEN’s Italian Desk and is of both Dutch and Italian descend. She is fluent in Dutch and English and speaks basic Italian. Martina studied notarial law at the University of Utrecht and fiscal law at the University of Amsterdam. Martina is a member of the Royal Notaries Organisation (KNB), the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam and the Dutch Italian Business Association.
