Bill on implementation of directives on sale of goods and delivery of digital content
On 18 February 2021, the Bill on Implementation of Directives on Sale of Goods and Provision of Digital Content (the "Bill") was submitted to the Dutch House of Representatives. The Bill regulates the implementation of (i) Directive (EU) 2019/771 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2019 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods, amending Regulation (EU) 2017/2394 and Directive 2009/22/EC, and repealing Directive 1999/44/EC and (ii) Directive (EU) 2019/770 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2019 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services which will lead to an amendment of Book 7 of the Civil Code.

The Working Conditions Decree contains rules relating to safety, health and wellbeing at the workplace. Article 3.2 of the Working Conditions Decree contains general requirements with which the workplace has to comply. These requirements are temporarily expanded due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Am 27. September 2020 wurde in den Niederlanden ein UBO-Register eingeführt. Die Einführung des UBO-Registers basiert auf dem Umsetzungsgesetz, mit dem die Vierte und Fünfte EU-Richtlinie zur Bekämpfung der Geldwäsche (Geldwäscherichtlinie) in die niederländische Gesetzgebung (das Umsetzungsgesetz) umgesetzt wird. Introduction of the UBO Register in the Netherlands
On 27 September 2020, a UBO register will be introduced in the Netherlands. The introduction of the UBO register is based on the implementation act pursuant to which the EU Fourth and Fifth Anti Money Laundering (AML) Directives are transposed into Dutch legislation. On June 22, 2020, the implementation act for Regulation 2019/452/EU on the screening of foreign direct investments was submitted into Dutch Parliament. The purpose of this act is to implement all necessary legislative measures required by Regulation (EU) 2019/452 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 March 2019 establishing a framework for the screening of foreign direct investment.

Inkrafttreten des Ausführungsgesetzes über die Registrierung von wirtschaftlich Berechtigten
Am 23. Juni 2020 wurde das Ausführungsgesetz über die Registrierung von wirtschaftlich Berechtigten und anderen juristischen Personen (das "Ausführungsgesetz") zur Einführung eines öffentlichen Registers für wirtschaftlich Berechtigte (das "UBO-Register") in den Niederlanden vom Senat verabschiedet. Die Einführung des UBO-Registers ergibt sich aus der Vierten und Fünften EU-Geldwäscherichtlinie, die mit dem Ausführungsgesetz in niederländische Gesetzgebung umgesetzt wird.
